Working with the Community

Extendahome Director Peter Wisniewski presents a cheque to Ross Bingham, Manager of Ronald McDonald House, Newcastle from our Charity Auction at Extendacup in February, 2019.

The team at Extendahome are proud to be able to support the wonderful work done by the following charities each year, both through sponsorship of their events and also our ongoing commitment to raise money at our annual fishing tournament and camping weekend which we have donated all monies raised to Ronald McDonald House, Newcastle for the last decade.

Every year since 2004 Extendahome have held a fishing tournament and camping weekend at Mungo Brush camping ground, near Hawks Nest on the mid north coast of NSW. There is always an average attendance of 120-150 people, mainly being Extendahome team members, sub contractors and suppliers and their families. It is always a fun weekend and we hold a charity auction to raise money for worthy charities. Since 2010 our special charity has been Ronald McDonald House, Newcastle. This is a wonderful organisation managed by Ross and Rohan Bingham – through their tireless work they help make the lives of families with sick children a little bit easier while they have kids in hospital. We at Extendahome are proud to help this worthy cause in some small way – most years we manage to raise and donate approx. $25,000 to the cause. The last few years Ronald McDonald himself has attended much to the enjoyment of all the kids at Extendacup!
